Forget your Insta tutorials, get creative with make-up IRL!
A series of four 3 hour workshops on theatrical make-up skills and special effects suitable for all levels.
Working with an experienced professional make-up artist, follow the creative process from the early stages of researching a character through to the final make-up design. Find out about the different materials and tools used in the industry, and how to use them effectively.
Bring your ideas to life with mood boards, mind maps and face charts and learn the art of transforming an image from conception into the final 3D make-up design.
Activities will include:
- Week 1: Casualty effects
- Week 2: Special effects using latex and textures
- Week 3: Ageing techniques
- Week 4: Application - final character makeup design
