Drama workshops for 12-16yrs | Weekly sessions
Are you aged 12–16 and bursting with creativity, energy and a love for theatre? Whether you're a budding actor, a behind-the-scenes enthusiast, or just curious to try something new, the Young Company provides a space to build confidence, make friends, express yourself and have fun.
Who’s it for?
Young people with an interest in drama and performing arts between 12-16 yrs (school years 7-11)
When is it?
Weekly sessions on Wednesdays from 5.15 - 6:45pm.

Please note, to take part you will need to be available for the majority, if not all the dates listed above.
Where is it?
Sessions take place in the River Room.
What to expect:
- Weekly workshops led by professional theatre-makers
- Acting, devising, movement, musical theatre, voice and more
- Opportunities to perform in a relaxed, supportive and fun environment
- Insight into the world of theatre - backstage and beyond
- An opportunity to take part in an informal sharing for parents/ carers
No experience needed – just enthusiasm and a willingness to explore. Whether you're interested in a career in theatre or just want to have fun and grow your skills, the Young Company is the perfect place to start.
Please note, for the last session of the term, parents/ carers are invited to join us for an informal sharing of the Young Company’s work from 6.15-6.45pm in the River Room.
We have bursaries to support those on low income, and those who find it difficult to access creative arts activity.

Prices
The cost per term is £100 (£10 per session x 10 sessions) per person
